Is the school accredited?

Yes, Parsons Little Scholars has obtained the Gold Seal Quality Care Program that acknowledges child care facilities that are nationally recognized by agencies whose standards reflect the highest quality in the level of care and supervision provided to children. Parsons Little Scholars is accredited by A.P.P.L.E., which stands for: Apple Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment.

What is the maximum student to teacher ratio?

Infants 1:4   Toddlers 1:6  
Two's 1:8   Three's 1:10  
Four's 1:10   School Age 1:10  

What are the school hours?

Parsons Little Scholars is open from 6:30a.m. to 6:00p.m., Monday through Friday.

What is the tuition?

See the Tuition Tab. While our rates reflect the highest quality care, we have many programs available to make child care affordable for everyone. Tour our center and ask our Directors how we can provide the finest care for your child and still address your financial needs.

What scholarships/discounts available?

  • Sibling discounts
  • Fire and Law Enforcement, as well as the Armed Forces
  • Florida’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Education Program
  • Jacksonville Children’s Commission (JCC) Vouchers (at a special Gold Seal rate)
  • Parsons Little Scholars scholarships for special situations
  • Work/Volunteer Programs for teacher’s assistants

Will meals be available? – and if so – What will be the cost?

Breakfast, Lunch and an Afternoon Snacks are included in the weekly tuition price.

Does the school require uniforms?

We do not require uniforms at this time. In the past we have required uniforms and are willing to re-implement this program if it is the parents wish to do so. Let us know your feelings and we will bring it to the Advisory Board for review.
